We are extremely pleased to announce our Patron this year will be Ruth Gotlieb. This will be Ruths second year as our Patron and her support for the CMP is greatly appreciated. Ruth is a highly respected hard working member of the community and is well know for her enthusiastic efforts on different councils and organizations in the Wellington region. We are delighted to have her onboard again this year.

Life membership

Each year, nominations are given to the executive to recognize members of our organization who over the years have contributed greatly in many areas.

This year we are pleased to announce Jacqui Roddick as a recipient of this honour. An active member for 17 years, Jacqui has contributed to all areas of the Company, including cast member, executive member (including secretary), production member (including choreography) designing and maintaining the website, programme design and much more.

Congratulations Jacqui!

From the President

This is my first year as President for the CMP, and I consider it to be an honour and a privilege to have been given this opportunity to contribute in this way. I have been actively involved with the Players for 29 years, both on stage, the executive and in production and have directed several shows in recent years. This year also sees me playing a dual role, as President and Director – a challenge I am looking forward to. I know I have 2 great teams working alongside me, all enthusiastic and dedicated members of the Company and all with experience. We aim to take the CMP into the future!

The CMP means a great deal to me personally. Over the years I have made a great number of good friends and have enjoyed not only performing on stage, but working with many talented individuals.

CMP is all about teamwork. Over the years, we have seen the standard of performances increase to an enviable level, whilst helping to promote amateur talent in the greater Wellington region.

We have helped countless organisations to raise much needed funds which makes us all feel very happy about!

I encourage you to attend one of our shows this year – and who knows? You just may be tempted to join us in some way!
